This is a friendly ride, C+ pace and hills. No one dropped.
In front of B Gross Men's Wear, by State Street & Jackson St, in Media PA
The Media Business Authority has granted a spot at Dining Under The Start (DUTS) for TTGM / Bike Delco to host a Bike Valet stand.
The Bike Valet booth provides a staffed place to park bikes, to keep an eye on your bike during the event. They also have a bike pump, and some basic bike tools, just in case.
If you can help staff this, Thanks! Just sign up like you work for a ride.
If you want to come just use the Bike Valet, just show-up!
(This is a test post, pending approval to list more Bike Valet items in the calender)
Springton Lake Middle School
Optional: after the ride, have dinner in Media with the DVBC Wed. evening groups (weather permitting).
Parking Lot Springton Lake Middle School
B category for stronger riders - expect 14 to 15 mph average in Spring increasing to 15+ mph in Summer and Fall. We will ride as a group on the flats and regroup after hills. We start at Springton Lake Middle School parking lot leaving promptly at 6 pm. Bring front and rear lights for safety as we‘ll be riding close to twilight. Looking forward to seeing you on a group ride in 2024!
Calling all B and C+ riders to Dining Under the Stars after the evening rides! We‘ll set routes to finish by about 7:45 pm and will rally at Little Anthony‘s Pizza on State St in Media. These have always been fun evenings in the past so I‘m looking forward to seeing you at Little Anthony‘s.
Wegmans in East Whiteland
Parking lot area 1 (next to trail)
This week we will ride a CVT-Valley Forge-SRT loop of approx 30 miles. Depart at 930 from the Wegmans in Malvern/East Whiteland.
Lets meet at Shaw‘s Bridge and head west to Sadsburyville for lunch and the loop through Wagontown, Lyndell, and Downingtown and add in a couple trails for fun. Expect 51 miles, 2700 ft of climb and a 12-13 mph average.
8:00 am start from 320 Market in Swarthmore assures us of enjoying the coolest part of the day, and still return in time for the Swarthmore Farmers‘ Market. We will adjust our ride to the needs of our riders, so if you‘re new to the club and not sure about your level, join us. We can circle back to the start for anyone wanting a shorter ride, just make your needs known. We won‘t leave anyone behind, but if you‘re out front, you‘re on your own!
Looking for about 2 hours, but again, this ride is about flexibility.
