Chadd's Ford Elementary School, the lot closest to Rt 1
Starting at the Chadds Ford Elementary School on Rt 1 just beyond Creek Rd, we will wander around a bit and find ourselves in Kennett Square, (avoiding rt 100 as the bridge is out) then on to Brew Haha in Delaware (on Buck road and 52) for a well earned break. From there it‘s a mere 8 or 9 miles back to the start. Total about 34 miles and 1750 ish feet of climbing.
This is a friendly, no drop ride. Bring plenty of water and I suggest lights even in the daytime. Please ride responsibly.

WE will ride from my house at 143 Colfax Road in Havertown to Forbidden Drive in Wissahickon Park. Forbidden Drive is Gravel - mostly fine gravel but a few short rockier areas. We will return via the towpath and the Cynwyd Heritage Trail. There are a couple of long but not too difficult uphill sections.
Walter Hill Elementary School
Betsy and Marian will lead Woody‘s 9:30 version, but we will leave at 8:30 am from Walter Hill School and we will skip a 4 mile loop, so looking for about 41 miles.
Mostly flat to rolling south Jersey ride with brunch/Lunch stop at Alloway Lake park. Bring your lunch or get a sandwich at Bud‘s Market in Alloway. Ride features longer stretches on newly paved asphalt..smooth! Lunch is at 26 miles. Two large water bottle ride. It will be HOT, some stretches with little shade. NO drop ride.

Mostly flat to rolling south Jersey ride with Lunch stop at Alloway Lake park. Bring your lunch or get a sandwich at Bud‘s Market in Alloway. Strath Haven Middle School
Lower Parking lot adjacent to Copples
This week we‘ll meet at Strath Haven Middle School Lower parking lot near the corner of Copples and Rt 252 in Wallingford at 8:30 a.m. for a local ride. Looking for 35-ish miles, depending on weather. We‘ll start early and only take a short bio break in order to beat the heat and if we‘re lucky, rain. Too early to tell.
So join me if you‘re willing to be a bit flexible. If I do post a route it will likely be Tuesday.

Scenic ride through the greater Ridley Creek State Park and Brandywine to Greenville where we‘ll stop at the Centreville Place Cafe for a quick bite to eat. We‘ll start at the main parking lot--uppermost level-- of Ridley Creek State Park on Sandy Flash Drive across from the stables; restroom available. Expect lots rolling hills and climbing at an easy 12-14 mph pace. Approximately 45 miles. Bring $ and plenty of water. Wawa rest stop on the way back.

A must-do PA cycling destination. This route skips hills northbound on the L route and rolls back along some lovely Berks Co roads.

Chadds Ford Elementary School
Join Deb, Alex and I for a lovely ride out to West Grove for the best pizza ever - seriously!
Start at the Chadds Ford Elementary school and riding out to West Grove with a lunch stop at mile 31 at Brother‘s Pizza. This is a hilly 52 mile ride with 3200‘ of climbing on a lovely route. Average pace including hills will be about 13 mph. Bring plenty of water and snack in case you get hungry before lunch.
Please note beginning of route is changed due to bridge out on Rt 100. We head up Fairville, left on Rt 52, right on Owls Nest and right on Pyles Ford and then follow GPS route.

Borrowing from Morning Glory today, since they‘re not doing it this week. Just the Westown loop from Rose Tree Park, about 27 miles starting at 9:00 am.

The Media Business Authority has granted a spot at Dining Under The Start (DUTS) for TTGM / Bike Delco to host a Bike Valet stand.
The Bike Valet booth provides a staffed place to park bikes, to keep an eye on your bike during the event. They also have a bike pump, and some basic bike tools, just in case.
If you can help staff this, Thanks! Just sign up like you work for a ride.
If you want to come just use the Bike Valet, just show-up!

Calling all B and C+ riders to Dining Under the Stars after the evening rides! We‘ll set routes to finish by about 7:45 pm and will rally at Little Anthony‘s Pizza on State St in Media. These have always been fun evenings in the past so I‘m looking forward to seeing you at Little Anthony‘s.
Wegmans in East Whiteland

This week we will ride a CVT-Valley Forge-SRT loop of approx 30 miles. Depart at 930 from the Wegmans in Malvern/East Whiteland.
Lets meet at Shaw‘s Bridge and head west to Sadsburyville for lunch and the loop through Wagontown, Lyndell, and Downingtown and add in a couple trails for fun. Expect 51 miles, 2700 ft of climb and a 12-13 mph average.
8:00 am start from 320 Market in Swarthmore assures us of enjoying the coolest part of the day, and still return in time for the Swarthmore Farmers‘ Market. We will adjust our ride to the needs of our riders, so if you‘re new to the club and not sure about your level, join us. We can circle back to the start for anyone wanting a shorter ride, just make your needs known. We won‘t leave anyone behind, but if you‘re out front, you‘re on your own!
