We’ll cruise through DELCO towns, possible hills and good company. We’ll have to keep in mind that traffic may be heavier due to evening school functions. Please remember helmets, lights and water. Rain cancels at start.
We‘ll start at Glen Mills Post Office, 142 Glen Mills RD, Glen Mills, PA 19342 and will make our way around the hills and flats of the Thornbury area. Expect about 24 miles with about 1,700 feet of elevation gain. No drop ride, we‘ll regroup at the tops of hills, open it up on the flats, and will average about 13 MPH / Mile overall.
Morning Glory is now a Wednesday ride using a variety of our favorite routes-and maybe some new ones-that will bring us to Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. Should be a great day for this ride: Starting at Locke Ave. Park in Swedesboro, we‘ll head south to Woodstown, then west to Pennsville before returning to Swedesboro. Expect 41 miles and < 1,000 feet of climb. Bio break opportunity scheduled for Riverview Beach Park in Pennsville (mile 21). Join us for a relaxed Tuesday night ride through the streets of Delco. We will cover 15 or so miles at 10 - 12 mph and may encounter a few hills along the way. It‘s getting warm, so bring some water. Please remember that helmets are mandatory and though we will get back to the start before sunset, lights are still suggested. Non-club members are welcome - hope to see you Tuesday evening.
