A handful of TTGM (Transition Town Greater Media) and Bike Delco members have teamed up to start a Bike Valet service, to encourage biking to events, and help get more families biking.

A Bike Valet booth provides a staffed place to park your bike while you are out to enjoy an event, such as Dining Under The Stars. They have a valet to be a friendly face (and helping hands) while you park, to keep an eye on your bike during the event. They also have a bike pump, and some basic bike tools, just in case.

After a handful of test events, The Media Business Authority has granted a permanent space for bike valet services during Dining under the Stars. To properly support this, they would like to have 2-3 people 'on staff' each evening, to give folks a chance socialize, and a chance to wander and enjoy the event they are staffing.
